In our commitment<\/span> to<\/span> sustainability<\/span> and <\/span>environmental<\/span> protection<\/span>, <\/span>we<\/span> are <\/span>thrill<\/span>ed<\/span> to<\/span> announce<\/span> another year of reducing<\/span> our<\/span> Carbon<\/span> Footprint<\/span> (CF) <\/span>for<\/span> the<\/span> year<\/span> 2023. <\/span>This<\/span> effort<\/span> reflects<\/span> our<\/span> ongoing<\/span> dedication<\/span> to<\/span> minimizing<\/span> the<\/span> environmental<\/span> impact<\/span> of<\/span> our<\/span> operations<\/span> and <\/span>contributing<\/span> positively<\/span> to<\/span> climate<\/span> change<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n

Carbon footprint 2023 results.<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

In 2023, Daplast made significant progress in reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Here are some of the highlights:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Relative emission reduction:<\/span><\/b> While absolute GHG emissions remained similar to those in 2022, we have continued to reduce emissions relative to our activity. Thanks to the significant increase in production, we have achieved a relative reduction of 7.27% in the three-year system, consolidating our positive trend towards sustainability.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Renewable Energy Production:<\/span><\/b> The installation of photovoltaic panels in 2022 has borne significant fruit in 2023. The energy generated by these panels increased in 2023. This increase allowed renewable energy to represent 11.5% of our total energy consumption in 2023, compared to 3.5% in 2022.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Equipment Improvements:<\/span><\/b> We have replaced an old, high-energy-consuming injection machine with a new, more efficient technology machine. This measure has not only reduced our energy consumption but has also improved our production capacity.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
