Gran Canaria Arena – Avatar seating

New basket pavilion designed to host FIBA basketball competitions. It is the first sports facility to have AVATAR tip-up seats. The colors of the seats were chosen according to the requirements of the project and its colour distribution at the bleachers reminds the binomial sun and beach of the Canary Islands.

It hosts CB Gran Canaria basket club and it has hosted the 2014 World Basketball Championship and the final phase of the 2015 “Copa del Rey” Cup.

It has 11,500 AVATAR seats in its grandstands, which are recommended by FIBA.
