Descripción: Following the removal of the athletics track and the construction of a new tier of grandstands in the lower section, La Cartuja Stadium now has a total capacity of 72,000 spectators, with the addition of 12,000 new Sittem seats. This makes it Spain’s third largest stadium, behind the future Spotify Camp Nou and the Santiago Bernabéu.
After its revamp, La Cartuja Stadium was reopened on Saturday, 26 April 2025, on the occasion of the “Copa del Rey” Final between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.
